I have a 17 month old boy who is quite active. I would love to have a way to have him walk near me without him bolting. I know there are harnesses out there, but I was hoping to find something less cumbersome than the bags (cute animals and all that). I can picture a vest or jacket (zipper in the front) that has a handle on the back to grab them if they bolt and a harness/handle that you can hold either from the back but can also be clipped on the inside of the sleeve so they can hold on to it. Something light that you can add on to a sweater or light jacket...
The problem with the cute animal back packs is that they are bulky in a way but also too hot to use in the warm weather and they get dirty. I want something resilient and light weight.
